Goodbye Ireland

So, our last weekend in Ireland; we took a trip down to the South East to say goodbye to some of our great friends. Got some great black and whites in the icy conditions.

Dublin’s Big Snow

There’s enough snow for the record books. An amazing display of nature – but it’s brought everything to a standstill. Still, it adds something different to the otherwise uninteresting Winter drizzle.

Getting the perfect shot in landscape photography sometimes requires enormous patience and a significant degree of luck. Many of the photos in this gallery required me to return to the same place on a different day, or different time of the day (usually early morning or late afternoon) to get a better image.
